As a painter I want to capture the quality
of light -- which exists in a moment -- and share it with whom ever chooses art as a venue for daily enrichment.
To my passion for painting I bring 30+
years of graphic arts expertise including composition, use of color and the art of observation--a painters greatest tool.
​The capacity to relay light and shadow
(prime components of any image worth capturing) through the fluidity of watercolor will continue to be my greatest challenge. 
When I need a break, I turn to oil painting which allows me to restate and clarify without damage to the surface. But the magic of watercolor always lures me
back to try again.
